Armstrongs has developed and delivered training and assessment for the Transport & Logistics industry for over 50 years. Armstrongs is a Registered Training Office (RTO) and a VicRoads accredited heavy vehicle and motorcycle training and assessment centre working under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). Armstrongs is also WorkSafe accredited to deliver forklift license training and testing. Armstrongs' licensing courses are designed to deliver quality training outcomes and provide students with skills and knowledge that exceed minimum licensing standards. In addition, all Armstrongs' licensing courses are designed to provide students with as much practical experience as possible in order to further develop and consolidate their skills. Armstrongs regularly conducts research and industry consultation in order to keep abreast of emerging skill sets and competencies that new heavy vehicles are required to possess in a constantly evolving transport and logistics market place. Armstrongs has a fleet of industry standard vehicles across all categories of heavy vehicle and all gearbox configurations which enable students to learn in the vehicle that best represents the type and configuration of vehicle that they will operate in a particular workplace environment and the transport industry in general. Armstrongs trainers have a wide range of industry experience and are VicRoads and WorkSafe accredited. All Armstrongs trainers hold a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the TLI31210 Certificate III in Driving Operations.
