About Art Bsa

ART BSA has been co-creating contemporary Slovenian and European cultures since 2003. Our primary objective is to develop cultural and artistic activities in music education and creativity while promoting the creation, performance, mediation, and protection of musical and artistic values. By addressing different audiences, our programmes seek to balance environmental responsibility and social engagement, as we aim to elevate the art and the artist as a critical players in establishing a safe, tolerant, open and vibrant society. Throughout our journey, we have established ourselves as a reliable partner in the cooperation projects of the Creative Europe programs. Collaborating with esteemed institutions such as Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra London, Orchestre National de Lille, National Philharmonic Orchestra Amsterdam, Sarajevo Philharmonic, Montenegrin Music Center, Berkley Valencia Campus, L'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Rome, and many others, we have successfully implemented programmes focused on capacity building and mobility for emerging artists. As part of our commitment to fostering artistic growth and facilitating international cooperation, we established the EUROPEAN CAREER CENTER FOR ARTISTS - TRIPLE BRIDGE. This unique trademark serves as a bridge between artists, audiences, tradition, and the digital era. Whereas one of our most successful international programmes is the LJUBLJANA INTERNATIONAL ORCHESTRA (LIO), on the other hand, the SLOVENIAN YOUTH ORCHESTRA (SMO) showcases the talents and enriches our cultural heritage. At the beginning of March 2022, we responded to the full-scale war in Ukraine and established MUSIC FOR THE FUTURE, a social project charged with the superpower of music. This unique residency programme included evacuating Ukrainian youth musicians and integrating them into Slovenian society.
