We have been training Mighty Musicians all over Utah County since 1987. Our curriculum is world-class. Our teachers are methodically trained. And our students learn more. Started by a husband and wife team in 1987, the Art City Music Academy has spent the last 34 years bringing its students the best value in music education. Our comprehensive group curriculum was has been carefully refined by our director, Yvonne Blonquist, to lay the foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and prepares students for any instrument. Ear training, theory, technic and practice habits, are all covered sequentially, solidified through fun songs, and mastered through regular performance opportunities. Our fully-equipped classrooms have everything necessary for our students to thrive including a keyboard for every child. Trust us, there is no better way to start children in music! In our private program curriculum, we continue our high standard of quality education. Starting with our university-trained instructors, each teacher completes the requirements of our pedagogy certification, bringing expertise to every lesson and ensuring progress in each student. In our comprehensive private program, students learn technic, performance, composition, theory, ear-training, sight-reading, collaboration, practicing skills and enjoy playing the best music from today and the past.
