About ART FIRST Education
AF was co-founded by alumni of University of the Arts London and Rhode Island School of Design in 2013. We believe that the primary purpose of art education is to cultivate students’ creativity, help them to build a strong sense of collaboration and confidence, and develop their cultural awareness & empathy, as well as hone their critical thinking abilities. With this original intention in art education and years endeavor of continuous research and development, we have been developing from the Art Foundation Course, the 4A Curriculum System, to today’ s Alpha Programs. AF brings together a group of artists, designers and scholars graduated from top overseas universities and art&design colleges, building a strong team of tutors and researchers. AF is always designing the most systematic and scientific art courses and programs for Chinese students and the public. To date, AF has helped students gain more than 6,000 offers from top art&design colleges and universities all over the world. By setting up art courses with well-known international high schools in China, organizing cultural and social practices, providing art project internships, AF is always trying to break the boundaries in art&design, and exploring the possibilities in art education. In AF community, what you can get is not only a portfolio, an admission letter, but also an all-round understanding in the art&design field. AF aims at establishing the largest art design community in China, where everyone who loves art and design can find his/her own place. Meanwhile, we expect this community can affect more people and produce greater social impact. Artists and designers commu- nicate with the world through their unique language.
