Art Sense Studio is a Social Enterprise we provide services to and in partnership with . We design and deliver programmes and projects in arts & crafts, drama & movement and wellbeing. We are specialised in delivering tailored sessional group workshops and programmes for adults with lived experience of mental health issues, learning difficulties, the elderly, communities, corporations, charities and NHS . We support people on all levels so they can experience self- expression through art and thus improve their wellbeing. Sessions are delivered and facilitated by: - Visual Artists and Crafts Practitioners - Professional Actresses - Drama and Movement Workshop Facilitators - Community Art Workshop Practitioners - Guerrilla Garden Activists - Healthy Eating and Food as Medicine Facilitators - Engagement Mediators Our Professionals have more than 8 years experience delivering workshops using coproduction and Person Centred Approach. We believe it is very important to sustain a commitment to an outcome and evidence based orientation in our work. All our practitioners are qualified, trained and DBS checked. What do we promote? - Facilitate social interaction and engagement - Deliver social cohesion and inclusion - Share knowledge and tools for better social engagement - Promote body awareness and self- expression through art We promote these aims by offering a consistent programme in partnership with Local Authorities, Local Business, Community Groups and the community in general. We believe there is a strong demand for engagement with local communities as we are all struggling to cope with the present challenges imposed by the critical period we live in. In order to cope with stress and the constant demands, we understand there is a necessity to work through symbolism. In this sense, art expression and cultural engagement are some of the most powerful ways society still can make sense of feelings and emotions in a healthy way.
