ARTE is the UAE’s largest pure handmade designer, art, fashion & craft market. Find up to 150 contemporary and highly original makers and designers. ARTE, The Makers’ Market is proud to have been operating in the UAE since 2005. ARTE, an acronym for ‘Artisans of the Emirates’, can base its success on the simple concept of promoting handmade arts, design, fashion, crafts, some sweet delights, all handmade right here in the UAE by its creatives. Miriam, the founder of ARTE and a felt maker herself, along with a small team of volunteers work enthusiastically organising the high quality ARTE events each Saturday, in two alternating locations: Times Square Center & Mercato Mall. We are so delighted to provide the 100s of participants in the ARTE markets with the opportunity to showcase their own hand crafted ranges. The unique and beautiful products available include jewellery, soaps and skincare products, greeting cards, cushions, scented candles, children’s clothing, ladies’ fashion & accessories, art, pottery and accessories for your home and business, at regular market events and boutique pop up locations around the UAE. Only products which are designed and made by the vendor, can be sold at ARTE, imported products for resale are simply not allowed. ARTE stands by the slogans “We make what we sell” and “Handmade in the UAE”. Over the years ARTE has seen many of its vendors realise their creative potential and develop their love of making into a viable business. We are so proud to support these achievements by offering an incubator for new businesses.
