Having built their careers in fashion & tech, Lina & Mikkel felt a calling to utilize their complementary skills and experience to create a brand that would make lasting, positive impact. Arteana creates distinctive, high-quality footwear by bringing life back to antique Italian techniques, blending cultural heritage with modern design. Our shoes are 100% sourced and handmade in Italy, using methods passed down through generations, most of which are at risk of disappearing. Through Arteana, we give dozens of antique Italian artisan techniques, renewed purpose by integrating them into wearable, design-led footwear collections that resonate with today’s luxury consumer.
