About Artemis Psychology & Yoga

Social sciences and more specifically social psychology, demonstrates how interacting with others influences our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. This interaction is sometimes complexe and can become challenging. It is therefore crucial to acknowledge and understand the difficulties which naturally arise within a group. Work and organizational psychology is a specialization within social psychology which focuses on these challenges and identifies solutions that improve the well-being and performance of groups and individuals. Since we often spend most of our day at work, it is not a surprise that our work environment has a large influence on our well-being. Indeed, work related issues such as stress, change or harassment can have a significant impact on the individual. In addition, work being such a big part of our lives, it can be hard to take distance and dissociate work from personal life. When someone is momentarily or permanently out of a job this can also have an effect on the individual and his surrounding. In a broader context, any individual discomfort within society deserves to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, this issues are too often ignored, if not suppressed. As a work and organizational psychologist, I offer assistance to both individual and organizations regarding issues such as burnout, career change or reorganization.
