About Articine

Articine is a professional development nonprofit for healthcare professionals. Our mission is to convey the human experience through performances and workshops. We integrate the arts and medicine to inspire healthcare providers to deliver more empathetic and effective patient care. Our vision boldly imagines the universal delivery of empathetic and effective healthcare that embraces the arts to support healing and well-being for healthcare providers and their patients. Founded in 2020, we have been very active and have won competitive funding from several organizations including the NH Charitable Foundation, NH State Council on the Arts, and New England Foundation for the Arts (funded through the National Endowment for the Arts). Thus far, we have created productions focused on mental health (“The Anxiety Piece”), addiction and family dynamics (“Shadows”), as well as our first educational film on dementia and empathy, (“Dottie”).
