Artis Construction is an award-winning company based in Charleston, SC, known for our expertise in historical renovation and custom homes. Since 2016, our passion has been to preserve the past while building the future. As our name (Latin for "craftsman") suggests, we are guided by a deep respect for time-honored building traditions, all while we build trust with every client. We specialize in high-end projects that require meticulous craftsmanship, from historic preservation and whole-house renovations to complex new construction. Our 24-member team is comprised of highly skilled professionals, including the largest number of graduates from the American College of the Building Arts in Charleston. We have the capabilities to deliver excellence from foundation to finish. Our passion is preserving Charleston's rich architectural heritage. We are experts at navigating the complexities of historic projects, working closely with the Board of Architectural Review to ensure smooth and authentic restorations. We believe our job is as much about working with people as it is about wielding hammers, and we are committed to using innovation and ingenuity to protect a building's integrity and a homeowner's investment.
