ARTISAN GROUP UK, incorporating ARTISAN CONSTRUCTION LTD and ARTISAN PLANT SERVICES LTD, is the successor of the original partnership set up by Mike McCormack BSc, master builder and Jo Treanor BSc, in 1999. ARTISAN ("Craftsman") was chosen to exemplify the standard the Company set out to achieve. The 18-year old Company maxim "Quality Without Compromise" was likewise devised to set an uncompromising commitment to delivering construction excellence. The Company undertakes in house using premium equipment the full spectrum of commercial, civil and residential construction works from conception to completion. This includes: groundworks, brick, block and stone work, timber frame and structural steel installation (including fabrication), flat and pitched roof installation and refurbishment, M & E (electrical and heating / plumbing) and communications installation, plastering and rendering, second-fix carpentry and internal fit out (setting tile, wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens). During its 18 years of operation the Company has completed the full spectrum of projects. Including commercial, civil and residential: new build, civil works & engineering, extension, refurbishment and conversion (cellar, barn, loft, garage and outbuilding to habitable space). The Company's project management skills and ability to bring together substantial works to an exacting standard are well honed and Client focused to ensure control, specification and delivery of works of premium quality on budget.
