Artistic Education Company offers a comprehensive array of music projects and arts education programs designed to engage, enrich, and educate a diverse population across Central Texas. AEC arts programming boosts the economic strength of Austin, Texas's art community. The Austin Creative Alliance sponsors AEC. City of Austin Economic and Cultural Arts Division partially funds AEC concerts. Artistic Education Company Mission is to increase access to high quality performing and fine arts education opportunities for Austin children by incentivizing providers to engage in local quality improvement efforts and reducing the financial barriers to low-income families. Founding CEO Monique Dacheff, started the company in 2006. We are dedicated to the promotion of unsigned local musicians, dancers, and artists highlighting their work in a concert series called Austin Jazz Glitz & Glam Concerts. The Concerts bring together musicians, dancers, visual artists working to promote their music and artistic portfolios to reach a larger audience. Our services include building their social networks within their artistic communities. Other music projects include producing EPs and Albums for those musical artists who have performed in the concert lineup over the years. AEC launched a podcast, "Austin Texas Empowers for a More Creative World," to promote, advance, and advocate for global arts initiatives. Since 2015, Artistic Education Company has been a district wide strategic Arts vendor with the Austin ISD School District. The largest school district in Central Texas, serving approximately 84,000 students at 130 diverse school community.
