About Artistic Noise
๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ฌ๐ For over 20 years, Artistic Noise has created visual arts and therapeutic programs in collaboration with thousands of young people whose lives have been impacted by the juvenile court system, foster care system, mental health care systems, and more. Through our Harlem-based artmaking workshops, courthouse-based alternatives to incarceration programs, drop-in therapy programs, large-scale mural projects, and more, the young artists in our community express themselves creatively, work collaboratively, build community, manifest visions of their futures, and develop a variety of leadership skills in the process. ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ฌ Artistic Noise works with youth and young adults while theyโre incarcerated, unhoused, on probation, living in the shelter system, or have recently returned to their communities of origin.
