About Artizan Collective

Established in 2014, Artizan Gallery promotes and supports local artists in Torbay and South Devon as well as playing a vital role in the cultural landscape of this region. The long-term goal is to expand into a larger dedicated art space which will act as a central hub for arts and culture across Torbay as well as making the Bay an attractive destination for arts nationally; whilst the central ethos is local, our reach is already national and international and our promotion is not solely focused locally. In the short to mid- term, now joined by my son Jacob, we are looking to increase our offer from this space, by expanding into other areas here and continuing to seek opportunities to raise the profile of the gallery and those artists who we support. Additionally, we intend to continue to use the space for other areas of creativity – performance poetry, music, networking events, providing opportunities to introduce artists and their work to a wider audience. The first four and a half years have seen a steady growth in awareness of the gallery and it’s aims across all our target audience and the business has established itself as a credible and professional space with a solid ethos.
