About Arts For Life
MISSION Arts For Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting pediatric patients and families through accessible arts education and engagement. By providing educational arts programs, we enrich patients’ lives, nurture their minds and spirits, and encourage positive healthcare experiences for children and their families. VALUES Creativity | Learning | Compassion | Collaboration | Inclusion PROGRAMMING We believe the arts are for everyone. We offer fully equipped, instructor-led art stations, bedside studios for those receiving inpatient care, synchronous virtual instruction, asynchronous virtual lessons, and fully resourced art kits for independent creations. These in-person and remote programs make the joys and benefits of creation accessible to pediatric patients and their communities by offering the arts as a tool to process, document, and honor their medical journeys. We know the arts empower individuals to share their experiences and to advocate for what they believe in. The skills we help young people develop equip them not only as artists, musicians, and storytellers, but also as leaders and changemakers. ===== OUR PARTNERS We currently provide in-person programming within three chapter communities across North Carolina.
