With over 135 years of experience, Acciai Speciali Terni (Arvedi AST), part of the Arvedi Group, is one of the most important integrated steelmaking sites in Europe in the stainless steel sector. Its core business is stainless steel flat products, for which it is market leader in Italy and one of the four leading producers in Europe. As well as the flat rolled steel, the company also produces ERW stainless steel tubes and pipe through its Tube Mill Division and forgings in special steels, among the largest in the world, through its Forging Division. Thanks to the new service centres network Terninox, AST Deutschland and AST Turkey located in Milan (Italia), Dortmund (Germany) and Çayırova/Kocaeli (Turkey), the innovative capacity and high expertise of the technical and sales team, Arvedi AST’s products reach customers across the world. The production plants are concentrated in Terni in an area of over 1.5 million square metres and cover the complete manufacturing cycle, from melting, rolling and finishing to packing. Equipped with the most advanced technologies, Arvedi AST produces about one million tonnes of stainless steel per year. Our factory produces semi-finished (Black coils) hot rolled and cold rolled austenitic, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel products, with different dimensions and finishes to meet customer needs and expectations. Thanks to its Finishing Centre, Arvedi AST is able to offer a wide range of surface finishes to improve the product's aesthetics and technical functionality. Various processes are also carried out including longitudinal cutting and cut-to-length to supply the product according to the specific dimensions requested by the customer.
