arver is an independent venture capital investment company that finances the growth of innovative technology companies founded or co-founded by ambitious women. Born out of the strong desire and ambition of Delphine Remy-Boutang, founder of Journée de la Femme Digitale (JFD), to accelerate the careers of women entrepreneurs in order to create a new generation of leaders who will change the world. She has brought to the fore women entrepreneurs who are now among the leading names in the tech ecosystem in Europe and Africa. We give visionary and ambitious women entrepreneurs the resources they need to accelerate their growth. Although there are fewer companies run by women, they are more profitable than those run by men. Despite this, access to finance remains a major obstacle for start-ups founded or co-founded by women. In Europe, 1.1% of all venture capital funding is allocated to start-ups run by women, and 8% to mixed teams. arver aims to tackle these inequalities through a militant investment approach. If we really want to change the world, we must first change the way it is financed. We invest in high-potential impact companies leading to technological advances that benefit our societies, our planet and people. The company must have a female founder or co-founder, to enable it to meet the challenges of tomorrow responsibly and equitably. We also act as co-manager of funds dedicated to its core investment area with management companies. arver finances companies with strong growth potential in dynamic markets capable of international expansion and seizing new breakthrough opportunities. We seek out emerging talents who put performance at the service of people and the planet.
