About Ascend Together
Ascend Together is a social enterprise dedicated to improving the lives of young people affected by adult anger. The company’s activities will provide benefits to children, young people, teachers, and whole school communities within the South Norfolk/North Suffolk area (as well as therapists and wellbeing practitioners nationally and internationally through our online service). OUR MISSION: Our primary aim is to improve the lives of young people affected by anger – and to facilitate positive change among angry adults too. OUR VISION: For all young people to manage their anger, build resilience, and communicate assertively so that they can flourish and thrive now and in the future. For mental well-being professionals to implement our evidence-based anger management initiative, CHAMP, within all UK schools. OUR POSITION: Anger can be beneficial when explored, utilised, and expressed in the right way. We help transform anger into a mindful function and develop assertive behaviour in individuals so that they can flourish and thrive within their community. Under the Articles of Association, the primary objectives of Ascend Together CIC are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular, without limitation, to 1. Improve the lives of young people affected by anger; 2. Enhance teacher well-being nationwide; 3. Promote positive parenting; 4. Provide mental fitness coaching for young people in the community; 5. Develop the capacity and skills of teachers in the community and promote Positive Education within their school communities; 6. Provide educational and well-being services to school communities; 7. Provide anger-informed coaching workshops for teachers; 8. Promote social and economic inclusion of young people, including integration into the wider community
