ASGFR stands for 'A Skin Guide for Rookies,' a Facebook community created with the purpose of allowing skin lovers to come together and openly talk all things skincare and beauty. Capre had a vision to grow a space where individuals felt comfortable expressing their skin concerns, share product reviews, recommendations, offer and request advice and most importantly have the support of many individuals who have all been in a similar skin situation at some point. Words from our Founder, Capre Struggling with acne for most of my teen years, I was told by many to buy multiple products to help solve my suffering skin from cleansers, scrubs, actives, heavy skin treatments + more to continue to not only suffer with the same issues but on top I now had to deal with sensitised skin and a very impaired barrier from the overuse of unnecessary products. It wasn't until I cut everything out and went back to the true basics whilst starting a medication. I would use a face washer, hydrators and sunscreen. This is when I was shocked at the outcome and how calm my skin had became, this is when for once in my life I saw a difference. I knew once I had these results, I wanted everyone to experience only the essential and gentle life when it came to skincare and that is how the Guide Me Range came to life. Capre's findings lead her to reinvent the product most people use everyday, but often never think about — the wash cloth, the most gentle of versions of a face washer. We layer our face in products, daily. From primer and sunscreen to foundation and setting spray, our skin carries a lot of weight. Capre created a product that will purify and cleanse your skin in just one swipe whilst being environmentally friendly.
