A real estate merger announced earlier 2009 in the establishment of a major real estate development company under the name (Ashaad) Real Estate, headquartered in Riyadh. The conglomerate included four companies in different specializations, including: AMB Contracting Company, Al Ali Real Estate Company, Al-Maskan Economic Company, and Wasl Installment Company, and the total investments of the new company, which will specialize in housing development, amount to hundreds of millions. According to a statement issued by the company’s board of directors, this merger aims primarily to localize residential products, at costs that suit the needs of middle-income people. Provided that the company itself secures the financing process for the beneficiary according to new financing programs that take into account the entry of the target group. An announcement is expected after the Eid al-Adha holiday about residential projects in Riyadh and the Eastern Province that will crystallize the company’s goals in this regard. The company succeeded in bringing together four specialized poles, including the housing component, as Al Ali Real Estate Company has extensive experience in real estate marketing through its branches in the east, north and south of Riyadh. As well as in the Eastern Province, it has succeeded over the past years in completing the sale of thousands of real estate units that included different products and multiple segments. While AMB Contracting Company has been in the housing market for more than 25 years, it has resulted in the construction of thousands of residential and commercial units in different neighborhoods of the capital. The company has an elite group of the oldest engineers and skilled workers in the Saudi market, which gave it good experience in understanding the nature of Saudi housing and determining its requirements.
