Ashdale Engineering is proud of its proven track record of over 30 years in the industry, delivering inspection work based on sound engineering principals. Our experienced and knowledgeable engineers carry out competent person inspections for many industries ranging from public sector bodies such as the Ministry of Defence, National Health Service and local authorities through to insurance companies, utility companies and heavy industry amongst others. In 2013 we began delivering risk assessment consultancy and inspection services to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and are pleased to have successfully expanded our expert consultancy and inspection work into five continents. Our engineers have a first rate understanding of engineering principles and provide the company with more than 400 years of combined expertise. We have developed a highly respected range of workplace risk assessment services ranging from industrial kitchen inspections and gymnasia inspections to workshop inspections and LPG installation inspections. Ashdale Engineering was one of the first companies in Wales to gain registration to BS5750 (now ISO9000) and in early 1995 became one of the first companies in the UK to be registered under the Health and Safety Executive's original criteria for in-service inspection activities - the National Certification Scheme for in-Service Inspection Bodies (NCSIIB). From 1998 Ashdale Engineering has been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a 'Type A' Inspection Body under the international standard for in-service inspection ISO/IEC 17020. In the last decade we have expanded, and now our client base spans all industry both across the U.K and overseas. Major growth areas for our business have included local and county councils, the National Health Service, ports, docks, airports, MoD installations and other major industry.
