Ashford International Truck Stop is a high security park serving the drivers passing through the South-East of England. Catering to truckers from Europe and the rest of the world, we pride ourselves in offering the very best service to the men and women drivers who keep our economy flowing. Ashford International Truck Stop was built to serve the growing demand upon the completion of the Eurotunnel. Since then, it has changed hands, and is currently managed by GSE Ltd. Much thought and effort has gone into making Ashford Truck Stop a great place to be, and many improvements have been made throughout the last 11 years, helping to expand the site into what it is today. This high standard of business helped contribute to the site being nominated by its customers and Awared the UK's best 'Truck Stop of the Year 2016' which was a huge honour and achivement for the site. Some of the few changes made included enhancing site security through the addition of Infra-Red, motion-sensitive cameras, a high-spec DVR, and a fence-line spotlighting and situated cameras for registration plate recognition. Also, due to suggestions from truckers, it was decided to incorporate measures to help drivers be healthier. Aside from adding healthy options to our menu, construction of the drivers gym was completed to help truckers stay fit over long journeys away from home, complete with treadmill, cross-trainer, rowing machine, free-weights, and running machines.
