Ashland Main Street leads the downtown revitalization effort by assisting businesses, planning events, and encouraging redevelopment and beautification in the center of our town. Downtown Ashland exemplifies what has made this community great for over 200 years, and what will continue to keep it thriving for many more. Our goal is to create an attractive destination for residents and visitors alike, to fortify our community by focusing on its heart; our downtown. Ashland Main Street was formed in 2011 to help create a "vibrant, livable downtown." We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, led by an executive director and board. Following the Main Street Four Point Approach, we have committees that focus on Organization, Economic Vitality, Design, and Promotion, led by volunteers from our board and community. Ashland Main Street is an affiliate of the Ohio Main Street Program, overseen by Heritage Ohio, and is part of Main Street America and the National Main Street Center, all of whom work to remind people that a town's Main Street is "the core of the community."
