About Ashton School

The Ashton School is a PK-12 private school accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)/AdvancED, offering an academic program that results in college readiness for both local and foreign universities. Students receive English instruction in the core subjects, in accordance with U.S.-based Common Core curricular standards, as well as Spanish instruction in the subjects required by the local Ministry of Education. Technology integration is strongly emphasized and as a result all middle and high school students have been issued an iPad for instructional purposes and Elementary School will have access to a mobile iPad lab. We are also committed to shaping our students to become exemplary and God-loving citizens by providing a character education program based on biblical principles and service learning experiences at each grade level. The academic and character education programs are enhanced with co-curricular developmental opportunities such as: ensuring that students have consistent physical education instruction from PK through 12th grade (including mandatory swimming in 2nd – 8th grade); fine arts classes at all grade levels; high school offerings such as Model United Nations, Global Issues Network, Student Council, National Honor Society and educational field trips. The Ashton Connections and Enrichment (ACE) after school program extends the curricular offerings to include: soccer, introductory gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, dance as well as a junior choir.
