Action Shooting International® (ASI) is a licensed, turn-key shooting sports program designed for those wanting to participate in an action shooting activity that is educational, low-stress, friendly and fun. Matches are held at ranges and clubs around the country. ASI is designed to provide an affordable opportunity to experience action shooting. Minimal equipment is required – “shoot what you have” and ASI matches are short in duration – usually lasting approximately 3-4 hours instead of an entire day. Match setup and teardown usually takes less than 30-45 minutes and is applicable for both indoor and outdoor ranges. Action Shooting International® (ASI) events provide an opportunity for legal firearm owners to use their firearms in a dynamic environment, encountering relevant, thought-provoking firearm handling scenarios. ASI was founded in 2014 by a group of nationally recognized action shooting competitors and firearms instructors to provide a fun and educational opportunity for those not drawn to other action shooting sports that are more oriented toward competition and athleticism.
