About Asia Private Equity Club @ SMU (APECS)
The Asia Private Equity Club @ SMU (APECS) is an intra-varsity Private Equity club to learn about the Private Equity & Venture Capital industries, with events to network with industry professionals. Our aim is to create a network of aspiring finance enthusiasts, where we seek to establish an avenue that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and growth potential. As a student-run club, APECS focuses on educating student members about basic financial knowledge, the private equity industry and assisting in exploring career paths for students in the PE industry. We would also wish to connect with fellow students across the world to share best practices and learn from each other’s diverse experiences, and finally to engage with the private equity professionals in Singapore. APECS is creating a huge impact amongst students with its wide-ranging activities from bonding sessions to lessons and a set of guest speaker seminars coming in all year round to share about their expertise.
