About Asian Crossroads at Yale
Asian Crossroads at Yale (ACY) is a student-led organization that fosters conversations around Central Asia, a region that has long bridged vibrant cultural traditions and modern growth and trade. Accordingly, ACY seeks to raise the profile of economic, social, and political development in the region, while also providing a space for students to engage with Central Asian culture. Asian Crossroads at Yale (ACY) serves a dual purpose: we aim to both support discourse on policies in the region as well as the rich fabric of Central Asian culture on campus. ACY looks to connect students with Central Asian leaders and experts on economic development, gender equality, international security, environment, and energy. Similarly, ACY will organize events to promote Central Asian history, traditions, and cuisine. As a result, we hope to create a community of students from all backgrounds interested in starting a dialogue around Central Asia.
