Celebrating 50 Years of Impact: Aslan Youth Ministries Continues Its Mission! Aslan Youth Ministries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving some of the most underserved communities in Monmouth County—including Long Branch, Red Bank, and Asbury Park—proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. Since 1975, Aslan has provided transformative programs for grade school and high school students, empowering young people through education, mentorship, and self-improvement programs. In 1996, Aslan expanded its mission internationally, providing life-saving services in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, along the northeastern border of the Dominican Republic. Over the years, Aslan has continued to grow, offering a medical clinic, clean water, education, and vocational training to families facing extreme poverty. Our Mission: Aslan’s mission is to provide relationship-based programs that make a lasting impact on the bodies, minds, and spirits of at-risk youth, equipping them with the tools to overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Our Philosophy: From the moment a child joins Aslan, they are encouraged to become servant leaders. Aslan teaches youth the importance of giving back—helping them recognize their talents and abilities to improve their lives and communities. With a multicultural staff and volunteers, Aslan fosters an inclusive environment that encourages positive relationships across racial and cultural backgrounds. Our programs focus on three core areas: Emotional and Spiritual Growth – Providing mentorship and character development rooted in faith. Educational Enrichment – Helping students excel academically through tutoring and one-on-one support. Recreation and Life Skills Training – Offering activities that build confidence, teamwork, and personal growth. As we embark on our 50th Anniversary Year, Aslan remains committed to transforming lives.
