MISSION: Asphalt Sealcoat Manufacturers Association (ASMA-USA), a professional Association comprising of manufacturers, material suppliers, contractors, consultants and governmental professionals, was formed with the expressed objective for promoting the use of asphalt emulsion based sealcoats for the preservation and protection of asphalt surfaces, with a special emphasis on safeguarding human and environmental health. The mission of ASMA-USA is to advance asphalt emulsion based sealcoating for pavement preservation through the full utilization of advancements in materials, equipment, while keeping the impact on the human and environment to an absolute minimum. Membership is available all: 1) Manufacturers 2) Contractors 3) Vendors 4) Associations 5) Government Agencies Charter Goals include: • Promote the value of asphalt emulsion based sealcoating • Be in compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies • Work with regulatory agencies to develop specifications • Provide guidelines and best practices • Safeguard human and environmental health. • Sponsor research activities of common interest • Develop guidelines • Promote safe and best pavement maintenance practices • Develop performance and specifications for asphalt emulsion sealcoat • Coordination and dissemination of the information to our members • Be in compliance with ASMA-USA Anti-Trust Guidelines Find more specifics on Charter Goals at https://www.asma-usa.org.
