AsOne theatre company delivers quality, engaging and contemporary theatre performance. It produces & tours every year with new writing, music & projected images to venues throughout England. In addition to touring, AsOne facilitates educational workshops in schools and community projects. Sometimes the two entwine. Through project AsCend, the theatre offers paid intern opportunities to post-graduate Arts and Theatre practitioners. Please have a look through the library of showcases for a myriad of wonderful examples. AsOne theatre company was founded by actress and artistic director, Jane McKell in 2004 ... "We do love the razzmatazz of big production shows in London. We love, even more, intimate and independent theatre that truly reaches the hearts and minds of its audience. Our aim is to KEEP INTIMATE & INDEPENDENT THEATRE LIVE and KICKING in the South and West." AsOne theatre is a not for profit company limited by guarantee. Its work is funded via various means: - It sells tickets through a touring production each year. - It is successful in winning grants from the Arts Council and other funders, for educational and community projects. - It taps into the captains of industry for sponsorship support in return for business advertising, profiling and corporate entertainment. Last but by no means least, it relies on an amazing bank of volunteers who believe in the magic of theatre. They initiate, support and put the 'fun' in fundraising on the company’s behalf.
