Aspira Aerial Applications Ltd is a leading technology company developing new, safer ways of surveying, maintaining and treating tall buildings and structures with a range of specialist coatings by using a bespoke Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Our primary aim is to support the green agenda by applying coatings that actively clean buildings and reduce air pollution and particulate matter, as well as to mitigate the risks of working at height. Our UAV or drone, known as the Aspiracopter is at the forefront of regulatory requirements and is unique in that it is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to fly close to buildings and tall structures in congested areas that can be difficult to access by more traditional methods. Our expertise in both robotics and software development has allowed us to develop our own inhouse software and hardware that can accurately locate the UAV up close to buildings even if/when GPS fails whilst maintaining steady flight control to allow for accurate spraying. This ability will transform building maintenance and protection, significantly reducing the cost and risk of application while elevating the environmental credentials, pollution control and sustainability of tall and/or inaccessible buildings and structures for building owners and operators.
