About ASPPA

ASPPA (Association of Portuguese Postgraduates in Germany e.V.), founded in 2012, is an independent, non-profit organization with the ultimate purpose of representing, promoting and defending the interests of Portuguese graduates living in Germany ASPPA's objectives are: - Stimulate the interaction of the community of Portuguese with academic degree residing in Germany with the German and Portuguese academic and business universe, promoting mobility and employability; - To strengthen the position and influence of the community of these Portuguese among the German and Portuguese descendent population; - To disseminate the successes and achievements of this community; - Support the integration of new members of the Association in German society, as well as assist their potential return to Portugal. Above all, ASPPA aims to be a space for discussion, open and permeable to the contribution of all interested parties, where it seeks to define the strategies and actions that best suit the pretensions of the community it aims to represent. The ASPPA currently has members coming from the most diverse professional areas, which are divided into: Members: Current members who participate in ASPPA's activities and are registered as such. Alumni: Former members of ASPPA who maintain contact and continue to participate in the Association's activities. Honorees: Person or Institution that makes or has made significant contributions to ASPPA. All those interested in participating in this project may register as members here. With everyone's contribution, ASPPA can be extremely important for the success of the Portuguese community in Germany and, ultimately, contribute to the projection and dignification of Portugal's name.
