About Aspyn's Stars
Aspyns Stars is a non-profit organisation based in and around Essex and London. Our aim is to provide information to women at the beginning of their pregnancies on PPROM and the risk factors, set up safe spaces for families who have lost children to PPROM and raise money to eventually fund private research into the causes of PPROM and how we can reduce them and eventually prevent them. Aspyn's Stars is dedicated to a very special baby boy, Aspyn Peel, the son of two of our founders and owners of two of the most financially involved businesses. Aspyn was born 11/09/22 after his mother's waters broke at 20 weeks. He passed during birth but, left an impact on his parents that meant they would never be the same again. Their experience with PPROM was full of fear. Fear for their child but, also, the fear of not knowing. We don't want any family to feel this fear again. Knowledge is power, and the medical field is woefully lacking in knowledge on PPROM. Dedicated to Aspyn John Richard Peel. Born Sleeping 11/09/22 Gone but, never forgotten. Our Dear Winter Bear.
