About Assessment Advantage

Assessment Advantage LLC was established primarily to provide assistance in preparing for ABET accreditation, whether a new program or an existing program. Services range from consulting, to "mock visits", to help with writing or reviewing Self Studies, to set up of assessment processes. This assistance has helped programs come into compliance with criteria before the ABET team visits. We also provide an assessment service to ABET accredited programs. To help program faculty perform continuous improvement, Assessment Advantage helps determine the extent to which the program is attaining student outcomes. Assessment Advantage works with the program faculty to determine a set of assessment tools and rubrics, completes the assessment using the agreed to tools and rubrics and writes a comprehensive report documenting the results of the assessment. The faculty then use the results to determine what improvements to the program, if any, are needed. The result is a cost-effective, high-quality, documented assessment process that frees faculty members to focus on educating and conducting research, while still charting the course for the program. The same service is available to industry. Additionally, the staff at Assessment Advantage provides consulting ranging from program management to business operations and has expertise in the area of aircraft design technical processes.
