About Associated Wire Rope & Rigging
Associated Wire Rope & Rigging was incorporated in 1994, beginning as a broker for products in the rigging and lifting industry. In the late 1990s we partnered with Waterman Supply Company in Wilmington, CA to develop and establish key distributorship agreements with suppliers. Product Lines that we represent include: RopeBlock: A Dutch manufacturer of Crane Blocks, Overhaul Balls, Snatch Blocks, Hooks, Sockets and many other items for the lifting industry. We represent RopeBlock in North America and distribute blocks and balls through three channels: industrial distribution, crane dealers and crane manufacturers. Currently, Kobelco, Tadano, Tadano Mantis, Broderson, Terex, Elliott & Manitowoc/Grove are some of the crane manufacturers that purchase RopeBlock products for use on their equipment. The full line of RopeBlock products are available through crane and rigging distributors throughout North America. GN Rope Fittings: Another Dutch company specializing in the production of mooring and heavy lifting products used heavily, but not limited to the offshore energy industry. GN products include shackles to 3,000 Ton capacity, eye hooks, master links and master link sub-assemblies, triangle plate and other products used in the heavy lift market. Most are Polar Rated and are in use worldwide in the most severe climates. Sea-Link: Products that were first introduced to the US market in 2001. The Sea-Link products are manufactured in Peru and include products for construction, fishing & marine, mining and general lifting and rigging applications, plus many are approved for us by the many US governmental agencies. Associated Wire Rope & Rigging has developed programs for our North American customers that are tailored to meet their specific requirements, including factory direct drop shipments of full containers, group shipments from our Los Angeles logistics center and single block shipments to locations throughout North America.
