The Association for African Owned Enterprises is a non-profit organization that was formed to serve as a representative for businesses owned, directed or serving the African corporate community and individual professionals. The Association aims to expand the influence of its members through lobbying for change, grooming individual members for leadership through training and cultivating members for senior management. The AAOE represents all Africans regardless of race, religion or nationality. We do not discriminate and remain non partisan as we seek to champion the rights of Africans in the UK. Where there is a lack of skills we aim to provide relevant training on how to utilize the resources they have, and leverage the technology available to get the most out of their businesses. Where African corporations and individuals are failing to expand business prospects in spite of their skills, we aim to look into why discriminatory practices still continue. The Association aims to promote prestige within the African corporate community through annual awards and distinction through articles in the Associations magazine and other media. The Association aims to inform and educate members on business opportunities available to their organizations including tenders, funding opportunities and trade opportunities. The AAOE also seeks to build role models who will inspire our youth to pursue better alternatives to gun and knife crimes and teen delinquency and teenage pregnancy.
