About Association For Black Economic Power
Association for Black Economic Power (ABEP) a civic & social organization non-profit (501c3) based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. OUR MISSION Eliminate the pernicious effects of persistent low economic status among African Americans by (a) promoting the creation of prevention and intervention mechanisms to address systemic wealth extraction and economic disparities; (b) promoting the development of products and services to allow for the generation of wealth; and (c) promoting and providing economic alternatives to traditional practices, policies, and behaviors that sustain economic inequality. OUR VISION Remove social stigmas and provide a solid financial foundation for our people to move from existing to thriving by creating a cooperative Northside-focused ecosystem of community partners working toward the common goal of building and sustaining wealth for the Black diaspora that stays circulating in our community.
