About Association of American Physicians and Surgeons
Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) has been a voice for independence of patients and physicians since 1943. Our motto is omnia pro aegroto (everything for the patient). We believe in the sanctity of the patient-physician relationship, and promote free-market solutions to problems in medical financing. We publish the quarterly peer-reviewed Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons. We support private medicine through education, advocacy, and litigation. We are non-profit and nonpartisan physician membership-based organization and do not accept funding by by corporations or government. AAPS adheres to the Oath of Hippocrates. The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons oppose ObamaCare and successful fought HillaryCare in the courts in the early 1990's and won. AAPS has members in every state of the United States and in nearly every medical specialty.
