About Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals

The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals honors outstanding achievement and service to the communication profession worldwide. Since 1995, we’ve provided inexpensive, independent competitions that are fair, respected, and open to everyone, from individual communicators to Fortune 50 companies. Our competitions: • MarCom Awards (early fall) • Hermes Creative Awards (winter) • AVA Digital Awards (late fall/early winter) • dotCOMM Awards (late spring/early summer) • Communitas Awards (rotating quarterly) • Viddy [previously the Videographer] Awards (rotating quarterly) As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations. Over the past few years, AMCP’s Advisory Board has allocated over $70,000 in grants to support the efforts of its members. That money was used for marketing materials for homeless shelters, orphanages, day camps, community theaters, and art centers; and for programs for the elderly and disabled; childcare; and educational endeavors for the underprivileged. AMCP also sponsors and underwrites most of the expenses of the Communitas Awards, an outgrowth of AMCP's pro bono recognition program. Communitas Awards recognizes exceptional businesses, organizations, and individuals that are unselfishly giving of themselves and their resources, and those that are changing how they do business to benefit their communities.
