About Association of Women in Computing at Penn State University
The Association of Women in Computing is Penn State's largest women in computing organization! We support and celebrate women and non-binary people interested in technology-related fields such as Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, and Information Science & Technology (IST). Our mission is to foster a welcoming community for our members where they can freely explore opportunities in the technology industry and network with like-minded students or professionals! Each week, we host technology workshops, company spotlights and club bonding events. We also offer our members the opportunity to potentially attend Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing and to teach as Girls Who Code instructors for younger students! Visit our website to learn more about how you can get involved!
