AT Art & Interiors is an innovative multi-dimensional art consultancy and interior design business. Founded by Allison Thompson in 2014, AT Art & Interiors specializes in interior design, promoting international and local artists in Canada, project management of art exhibitions, private fine art sales, curation and consultation of art collections for hospitality, private and corporate spaces. With this diverse range of features, AT Art & Interiors provides art and design that is engaging and exciting allowing for a thriving environment for artists, designers and collectors. Allison Thompson was born and raised in western Canada. She has been exposed to a diverse range of international art and design markets through both educational pursuits and through a passion for travel. Allison completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Kings College London, England as well as a Masters of Art in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and New York City. She has worked at numerous modern and contemporary art galleries with a strong focus on curation of contemporary art. In an effort to expose art savvy Canadians to international art markets, Allison founded a mobile art gallery entitled “AT Art & Interiors” in 2014. Through this and other entities she has put on several large scale exhibitions and she deals in high end artworks. Allison also completed her Bachelor of Applied Design in Interior Design at LaSalle College Vancouver. Allison’s design approach focuses on holistic, integrative and user-friendly elements. She appreciates how a well designed space can unduly influence an individual’s experience. She enjoys working on designs that create unique concepts, offer simple solutions, an elegant atmosphere and firmly believes in quality over quantity. Although intrigued by many different design styles, Allison is particularly drawn to hospitality design which is often on a grand scale and facilitates human interaction.
