Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Tabakprävention Schweiz ist das Kompetenzzentrum für Tabakprävention der Schweiz. Als Dachorganisation zur Förderung des Nichtrauchens wurde die AT Schweiz 1973 gegründet und umfasst heute über 50 Kollektivmitglieder. Dazu gehören nationale und kantonale Gesundheitsligen, Organisationen aus dem öffentlichen und privaten Gesundheitswesen sowie kantonale Fachstellen. Zugleich ist die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Tabakprävention Schweiz eine Fachorganisation. Diese Doppelfunktion ermöglicht die Koordination der vielfältigen Aktivitäten der Mitglieder in der Förderung des Nichtrauchens. L’Association suisse pour la prévention du tabagisme AT a été fondée en 1973 en tant qu’organisation faîtière pour la promotion d’une vie sans tabac en Suisse. L’AT compte désormais plus de 50 membres collectifs: des ligues de santé nationales et cantonales (comme la Ligue pulmonaire suisse, la ligue zurichoise contre le cancer), des organisations publiques et privées actives dans le domaine de la santé, ainsi que des cantons et des assurances. ______________ L’AT est aussi un organisme spécialisé. Cette double fonction lui permet de coordonner les nombreuses activités de ses membres en faveur d’une vie sans tabac. ___________ As an umbrella organisation for the promotion of tobacco prevention in Switzerland, the Swiss Association for Smoking Prevention (AT Schweiz) was founded in 1973. Today, the association has over 50 collective members: national and cantonal health leagues (e.g. the Swiss Lung League, the Zurich Cancer League), organisations from the public and private health sectors as well as cantons and insurance companies. At the same time, the Swiss Tobacco Prevention Association is a professional organisation. This dual function enables the coordination of the diverse activities of the members in the promotion of smoking and tobacco prevention.
