About Atelier Architecture + Design
Our mission is to create spaces that help people to adapt and enhance our relationship with the natural environment. We use our ‘Pioneer-Nature-Method’ to reconnect people with nature and nature with people. We create spaces and buildings which interact with their surroundings enabling users to unwind, restore and rejuvenate. The design ambitions of AA+D cater to the crucial need to create spaces that aid in social connections in a post- pandemic environment. We aim to articulate meaningful spaces that support healthier communities and invite connection and collaboration. We engage with all stakeholders so we can understand and tailor these spaces to the needs of the community. For most architects the building takes precedence and is often found to dominate the landscape. We choose to believe that architecture and landscape are not mutually exclusive. At AA+D we draw reference from and seek to enhance the landscape. Through this symbiotic approach we create exceptional buildings in outstanding landscapes where architecture and landscape mutually coexist.
