About Atelier Khan

Atelier KHAN is a young, vibrant and ambitious group of architectural designers and thinkers based in London. We operate within architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, commercial Fit-outs, research and development. The office is currently involved in a number of projects across London, Asia and the middle-east. Our current primary focus is within the high end private residential sector, working closely with families, expanding and revitalising their homes to improve lifestyle quality and maximising space with adequate property value through well planned design. Atelier Khan architecture emerges from the growing need to live a balanced healthy lifestyle in the physical and metaphysical space. We give great importance to quality and reach of outdoor amenity and sun exposure, circulation, flow of movement and joy of materiality. Our current on going research is the gap and bridging of the fine line of indoor and outdoor space, by exploring various diverse methodologies of design, materiality, transparency and key sensory compositions emanating sounds and smell to blur this interesting physiological, psychological and perhaps biologically medicinal beneficiary transition through, light-well’s, courtyards, tiny gardens, garden terraces and captured landscapes. We are committed in finding freedom in transforming the surface of our physical world and connecting our mind, bodies and souls with the natural environment and metaphysical realm, through our distinct use of playful, open and pro-earth architecture.
