WHAT WE DO We provide residential, nursing and dementia care to the highest standards in our beautiful care homes. We currently have six care homes located in Southport, Ormskirk, Formby, the Wirral and Dover. HOW WE DO IT Everything we do, we do it to exacting standards. Our residents and their families can take comfort in the knowledge that: - We have high staff ratios, and only employ the best in the area; allowing us to provide truly tailored care. - We have inhouse chefs, preparing restaurant quality meals onsite, daily. - All our homes are finished to 5-star standards, providing modern yet homely environments. - Our daily home activities, many in-home social clubs and bespoke days out ensure our residents can live life to the fullest. WHY WE DO IT Here at Athena, we want to do away with the perception that living in a care home is something to put off for as long as possible, or even fear. We want to make the experience a positive move for those involved; providing a progressive setting, where our residents can regain lost independence, have great social lives and lead a varied and active lifestyle. Our focus is on enabling residents to lead fulfilling lives, removing the limitations usually associated with old age and dispelling the clichés affiliated with care homes.
