Athena Planning is an independent firm of planning consultants. We provide a professional, comprehensive service for a range of clients’ and development types across the UK. Principal specialisms include: planning appeals, site appraisals, planning applications, enforcement cases and conservation matters for all types of development projects. We also focus on due diligence on behalf of investors for housing and energy projects. With significant experience, a proven track-record of resolving difficult planning situations and securing planning permission across many sectors of the development industry, our aim is to provide professional advice on development opportunities and to negotiate positive outcomes. Athena Planning is owned and managed by Craig Miles. Craig is a property professional who is a full member of both the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Town and Country Planning Association. Craig’s background covers some 20 years in the planning and development industry. His experience covers the full spectrum of the planning system including; 7 years as a planning officer in both England and Scotland, 5 years as a planning consultant for a nation-wide Chartered Surveying firm, and over 5 years working as the Head of Planning for housing and renewable energy developers. Craig’s was regularly instructed by large institutions, conglomerates, individual farmers, large estates, small householders to develop a range of development types and sizes, throughout the UK.
