ATI – Advanced Medical Technologies Ltd. is a developer of non-invasive diagnostic devices for the ophthalmology market. The Company has two products in its portfolio, a novel non-invasive pupil dilation device, called "FIM" and a non-invasive tonometer to measure intraocular pressure, called "NIT". Today, pupil dilation is achieved by administrating eye drops and/or other substances into the eye. Eye drops have the following draw backs: Time-consuming. It takes approximately 20 - 30 minutes for eye drops to achieve the desired dilation. Blurred Vision for Several Hours. Eye drops limit the patient's normal daily activities after examination for a few hours. Patients experience difficulty in focusing and are unable to read and drive. Difficult to administer to Children and Elderly. Experience discomfort during the process. Complications. Eye drops may cause an allergic reaction or even an acute glaucoma reaction. These are serious complications and require immediate treatment. ATI has developed a drug-free mydriatic (pupil dilating) device, called FIM, that can immediately induce pupil dilation for an eye examination. Following the examination the pupil size returns to normal within minutes, allowing the resuming of everyday activities. FIM has received CE mark certification, Israel Ministry of Health "AMAR" certification and ATI received ISO 13485 certification.
