Over 15 years ago Atkins Curling Supplies was founded by owner Rob Atkins. Rob worked in the corporate world as a manager for a major Canadian telecommunications company, when the company downsized in the early 90′s, Rob moved on to smaller companies but never really found the proper match. After putting in many years in the electronics industry, Rob decided to focus his training and skills on starting up his own business. With Rob’s passion for curling, he started Atkins Curling Supplies as a small home based business. Over the years, the business grew and the business seen many moves as it grew and outgrew its various locations. The business recently moved into a newer, larger and more central location at 310 – 550 Century Street in Winnipeg. The move made room for a newer, larger showroom which also has a larger warehouse and work space. The business focus has also expanded over the years, product selection has expanded to include all of the curling manufacturers. As well, the business has added in-house embroidery and heat press equipment to decorate apparel. Atkins now caters to many clubs, small businesses, and corporations supplying them with custom decorated sportswear and apparel.
