Our founder and President, Kim Atkins, is a professional researcher with decades of experience in the industry, a degree in Business Management, and a Professional Researcher Certification from the Marketing Research Association. After starting in the industry as an interviewer in a quantitative interviewing facility in 1982, Kim quickly became the firm’s operation manager, leading its expansion by opening three new offices on the West Coast and founding the company’s qualitative research division. In 1999, Kim founded her own qualitative research company, and Atkins Research Global was born. Kim established her full-service research facility in the burgeoning Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles because of its unique geographic and cultural position. Located in essentially the geographic center of Los Angeles at the crossroads of some of the city’s most diverse neighborhoods, the Miracle Mile is within easy reach of the ethnic populations and professional industries that comprise the diversity of the greater Los Angeles metro area. Two decades later, Atkins Research Global is one of the only independent, owner-operated facilities in the region. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, our attention to detail, and our dedication to making sure your project is a success.
