About ATL Alarms

ATL Alarms was founded in 2003. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge gained from over 40 years within the fire, security and integrated systems industries. Our team has worked on a wide spectrum of equipment and for a diverse range of clients, from domestic to large corporates, including the Councils, Police, various government departments and the HMCE, both in the UK and overseas. ATL's founder, Stuart Drummond, has a strong background in the security industry gained from working with high-profile organisations in the UK and overseas. Having spent 14 years as a Systems Consultant working on security and AV projects for the Bank of England, Stuart then undertook systems consultancy roles for Orbis, Phillips Projects and Tyco. In these roles he worked on town centre systems, and designed systems for the Port of Dover and the Channel Tunnel. Stuart also managed the design and installation of an automatic number plate recognition system for the DVLA, before setting up ATL to provide number plate recognition and car park management systems. Among ATL's prestige projects are automatic number plate recognition systems for the iconic Burj al Arab hotel in Dubai and for the LAPD and Orange County Sheriffs in California. ATL also managed a £5 million refurbishment project at the Bank of England and provided consultancy to the London 2012 Olympic Committee.
